화상영어 독서토론 수업은 어떻게 진행될까?

수업 영상입니다.

 

독서토론 수업을 하고 있는 중학교 1학년 수업 영상 촬영분입니다. 책은 Number the stars 로 화면에 띄워진 글은 딸아이가 준비한 워크시트 입니다.

Number the stars 는 AR 4.0의 책이지만,

유태인 홀로코스트에 관한 내용으로 Interest Level 는 Middle Grades (MG 4-8) 입니다.

​

제가 봤을땐 내용이 가볍지 않아 중학생에게 더 적합한 내용이 아닐까 싶습니다.

다시한번 단순히 AR 보다는 책의 내용이나 주제가 더 중요하다는 것을 알 수 있습니다.

같은 책을 읽어도 독자에 따라 사유의 수준은 달라집니다.

I will enumerate 5 scenes in the story where characters showed bravery.

First, is when the Johansens hid Ellen. Ellen was Jewish so it was very brave. Even though they are friends it's risky. Their life depend on it.

Second, when the Johansens and Uncle Henrik brought over Jewish people at Uncle Henrik's house. It is risky. The Nazi's plan is to vanish the Jewish people. But if they get caught all of them will die.

Third, when the Johansens and Uncle Henrik helped the Jewish people escape. They almost got caught. But managed to get pass it.

Fourth, is when Annemarie delivered the packet to Uncle Henrik. She met soldiers along the way. But they let her go.

Fifth, is when Uncle Henrik had the handkerchief and saved many lives. If Annemarie didn't deliver the packet, their lives would be in danger.

In conclusion, the 5 scenes in the story where characters showed bravery are when the Johansens hid Ellen, when the Johansens and Uncle Henrik brought over Jewish people at Uncle Henrik's house, when the Johansens and Uncle Henrik helped the Jewish people escape, when Annemarie delivered the packet to Uncle Henrik, when Uncle Henrik had the handkerchief and saved many lives.
